Haengbok – Breeding Cocker Spaniel From a Puppy Mill in Korea
Do you know someone with a cocker spaniel shaped hole in their heart? This is Haengbok (which means Happiness). Haengbok came to us all the way from Korea.
He was a breeding dog at a cocker spaniel puppy mill in Korea and is debarked. Our rescue friends in Korea tell us that his former owner used to strike him with sticks and shoes, and when we first got him he did not like to be petted or handled (at all!).
Our friends at Top Dog Professional Training agreed to work with him, and he will now accept pets and love, though we would still prefer to place him in a home without children.
Haengbok loves toys and treats and was searching for a home in Korea for over a year before he came all the way to Texas. If you know someone that might be a good fit for a sweet cocker spaniel like Haengbok, send them our way!
Help Support Animal Rescue
Animal Hope Adoptions is a non-profit organization and we rely on donations to help offset the medical costs associated with rescuing at-risk animals. Please consider making a donation to help animals like this get the second chance they deserve.
Is Haengbok still available. Temperment, age and greatest drawback would be helpful.
We would love to adopt him, we have 4 cats so is he good with cats. All of our animals are rescues. One we found with his back legs tied together with rope and we have been able to rehab him and he loves everyone that comes over and insists on pets from everyone.
