Marsha

Marsha

Marsha is just the sweetest little chihuahua you’ll ever meet.  She is affectionate, not fearful at all, and loves to cuddle.  She has patellar luxation … a knee condition common in chihuahuas.  While the bum knees mean she can’t run a marathon, she can still get around well enough to go outside to have yard time with our other little dogs and would make a great lap dog or couch companion for someone who isn’t looking for a dog to run agility courses.

If you’re looking for a laid back cuddle buddy, come down and meet Marsha!marsha

Kasey

Kasey

Kasey is a terrier mix that was nearing the end of her time at the municipal shelter.  She is very laid back, and not a very high energy dog.  She is affectionate but doesn’t much care for other dogs.  If you’re looking for a laid back dog that just wants to hang out and cuddle, come down and meet Kasey today!

Kali

Kali

Kali and her sister were at a municipal animal control authority and are kind of high-strung dogs.  The noise and activity level at traditional city shelters stress out nervous dogs… they will not approach strangers and no one ever gets to see their “real” personality.  Kali has really blossomed since coming in to Animal Hope, and she and her sister bark and greet visitors when they come in our doors!
Jersey

Jersey

Jersey came from a municipal animal control facility and was nearing the end of his time there. He is a fox terrier or something similar.  We are not sure why no one wanted to adopt poor Jersey.  He is not fearful, he’s very affectionate, and he loves to run and play.  He loves to get yard time, and gets along well with other dogs.

Jasmine

Jasmine

Jasmine was at a municipal shelter and had demadectic mange.  She had a couple of strikes against her when it came to finding herself a home: 1) mange, 2) pit bull, and 3) home-cropped ears.  She has such a loving personality that we wanted to get her some medical treatment and try to find her forever home.

Jake

Jake

Jake was at a municipal shelter and had a femur that was fractured in two places.  Orthopedic surgery for cases like Jake’s is fairly expensive.  Fortunately, we were able to get a plate put in his leg and he is just about all healed up.  Jake loves to play, and is very affectionate.  Because he is so young, he did not like having his activity restricted while his leg healed!
