Bear – A Fearful Dog

Bear was surrendered to a municipal animal control authority because his owner passed away.  Bear was extremely fearful.  It was very hard to handle him, and he was nearing the end of his time at the animal control facility so we wanted to give him a chance.  Often, a fearful dog can be turned into an adoptable dog through some attention and patience.

Bear has warmed up considerably, and can now be handled even by strangers.  These are the types of dogs we like to give a second chance because we know that with the proper care he will be a great companion for someone in his new forever home.
