Waylon: Three Footed Retriever Mix Waiting Over a Year for a Home
Meet Waylon: a three footed Retriever and Austrailian Shepherd mix. He came in to Fort Worth Animal Control as a stray and had a traumatic amputation of the right hind foot. Rather than sit out the stray hold period, Fort Worth networked him out for immediate medical rescue in April 2022 which is how he came into our care.
Here we are a year later, and Waylon still hasn’t found a home. Super handsome, staff favorite, but he never even gets meet and greet appointments. It’s a real shame!
