Bruno’s Transformation
We wanted to share this update on Bruno, a dog that is very special to us. He originally came to us from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control in terrible condition. He needed eye surgery (to correct entropion in one eye and to remove the other), needed treatment for demodectic mange and was very underweight.
He spent a lot of time in our lobby during his recovery and we got really attached to him. When it came time to adopt him out, it was hard for us… but he got a great family back in January.
Bruno is a great example of what rescue means to us. He came from a situation that was killing him and now he’s treated like a king (as you can see from this portrait his new family commissioned).
Remember, a little love goes a long way, and this is true for both the animals and people in your life. A little love is a transformative thing.
