Bruno is a middle-aged chihuahua mix. He was at Fort Worth Animal Control and had heartworms. Heartworms take about two months to treat, and municipal animal control facilities are not equipped for long-term treatments of that sort.
Bruno has such a great personality that we couldn’t just leave him. He still has another heartworm treatment to complete in March, 2015, but he can be adopted now provided that his new family will bring him back to us to finish his treatment.
Bruno is a talker, and likes to alert you when there are people around. He’s a pretty active little boy, and weighs about 15 pounds and has little squatty legs. As you can see from his picture, he’s a pretty charming little guy.
